I'm not so sure, sad...@You cannot be disappointed'? I'm not so sure, sadly. I enjoyed the film but walked away feeling vaguely ... unsatisfied. I think it's because, while mad and heroic, the first three films teetered on the edge of believability. Indy 4 plunges off the edge far too often (just like that silly waterfall sequence). SPOILER ALERT - IF YOU HAVEN@T SEEN IT LOOK AWAY NOW! - The Tarzan and the monkeys sequence, those piggin' waterfalls, Mutt's swordfight, the motorcycle chase, those cliche aliens and ... I could go on. Chariots of the Gods? I thought that was all declared as hokum and tosh 20 years ago! I just found myself saying, 'Oh, come on ... you are joking.' And what did the lines on the Plains of Nazca have to do with anything?<BR/><BR/>Sadly, a lot of recent films have been such a pile of dross that Indy 4 came across as welcome relief and I did enjoy it.
